This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

We use your data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.

Information Collection And Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you.

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Usage Data

When you access the Service by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to: the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data ("Usage Data").

The Service uses the camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. Scan processing is performed on your device. We do not intentionally upload your scanned content (such as text, URLs, or Wi‑Fi QR contents) to a developer‑controlled server.

Local Storage (History and Thumbnails)

To provide features like History and quick previews, the Service may store scan results locally on your device. This may include scan history items and small thumbnails stored in the app’s private storage. You can clear your history from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local storage.

The Service may display advertisements and may use ad networks and mediation partners. These partners may collect and process data such as the Android Advertising ID, IP address, coarse location (derived from IP), device information, and ad interaction data (for example, impressions and clicks) for purposes including ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization.

In certain US states (including California), you may be offered privacy choices such as opting out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising purposes. We use Google's consent and privacy messaging tools (for example, the Google User Messaging Platform) to collect and store these choices where applicable.

You can typically review or change your choices within the app (for example, via Settings → Privacy options) and via Android privacy settings.

If you are located outside US and choose to provide information to us, please note that we may transfer the data, including Personal Data, to US and process it there. This may also happen when using Service Providers (for example, advertising, analytics, or payment providers) that process data in the US or other countries. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and no transfer of your Personal Data will take place to an organization or a country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your data and other personal information.
